This book is very concise and full of interesting case studies. It was one of the few occasions when I wished the book could have been a bit longer. Well researched, well written, well done! The comparison companies had a penchant for doing just the opposite, failing to grasp the fact that managing your problems can only make you good, whereas building your opportunities is the only way to become great. I love books with a passion. Having moved several times in the last few years, I should say that I really love the library and digital books with a passion (I love my Kindle).I’m always finding new books and checking way too many of them out from the library (which I’ve found is a great way to rack up fees and support your local branch).
Overall, Good to Great is an absolute classic business book and one that we recommend you read. In the book, there are many examples that will help bring the concepts we’ve discussed here to life. Overall, we’ll definitely score this book a 10 out of Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap and Others Don't is a management book by Jim C. Collins that describes how companies transition from being good companies to great companies, and how most companies fail to make the transition.
